You just found the perfect item on Vinted, you start the payment, and then: no pickup points are displayed nearby. The map remains empty or only offers addresses several dozen kilometers away. This bug regularly affects users in France, and it doesn’t always originate from your side.

Why the Vinted pickup point map remains empty

The first instinct is to think of a connection or geolocation issue. In most cases, the cause lies elsewhere. Each carrier manages its own network of pickup points, and these networks do not cover the territory uniformly.

Vinted Go, Mondial Relay, Relais Colis: each has partnerships with businesses or automated lockers. When a given carrier has no active points in your area, the app displays nothing for that shipping method, even if another carrier perfectly covers the zone.

The Vinted Go network extends through automated lockers and partner pickup points, but some areas remain poorly or not covered for a specific carrier. This is why a buyer in the same city as you may see pickup points that you do not: they are using a different delivery method.

A recurring bug, reported by many users at the end of 2025, also causes the sudden disappearance of previously functional pickup points. Sellers and buyers report losing access to all points in their city overnight, without having changed their settings.

Creating a new account does not solve the problem, which confirms a server-side malfunction. When there are no pickup points available on Vinted, the situation often stems from a technical issue beyond your control.

Changing carrier on Vinted: the quickest solution

Before contacting support, try a simple maneuver. Select another shipping method from those offered by the seller. If Mondial Relay shows nothing, switch to Vinted Go or Colissimo, and vice versa.

Specifically, here’s how to proceed:

  • On the item page, check the available delivery methods (they depend on the seller, not you).
  • If only one carrier is offered and it doesn’t work, send a message to the seller asking them to activate another shipping method in their settings.
  • If you are a seller, go to your delivery settings and check all carriers compatible with your area, including Colissimo at the post office.

Delivery at the post office (Colissimo or Shop2Shop) remains the most reliable fallback solution. Post offices cover almost the entire territory, including rural areas where private pickup points are lacking.

Shipping label that does not work at the pickup point

Another scenario blocks the transaction: you have a pickup point, you go there, but the shipping label is refused or does not scan. The staff at the pickup point cannot do anything.

Vinted’s official recommendations for this situation are clear. First, try sending the package from another pickup point in the same network. You will find the list of alternative pickup points via the carrier’s link in the transaction conversation.

If the label does not work at any pickup point in the network, Vinted indicates that you should cancel the transaction and ask the buyer to reorder. A new order generates a new label, which resolves the issue in most cases.

Check the status of the pickup point before traveling

Some pickup points appear on the map but are temporarily closed (holidays, renovations, cessation of activity). The Vinted Go map allows you to check the hours and availability of a point before traveling. Make it a habit to avoid unnecessary trips.

Rural or poorly served area: adapt your shipping method

In low-density areas, the problem is not a bug. It is a structural coverage flaw. The network of lockers and private pickup points is concentrated in urban areas. In the countryside, sometimes only one carrier covers the area, and if that pickup point closes, there is nothing left.

For sellers located in these areas, two concrete options work:

  • Always activate Colissimo with drop-off at the post office. It is the only network that guarantees a drop-off point at a reasonable distance anywhere in France.
  • If the package is large, offer delivery to the mailbox when the format allows. The buyer receives it directly at home, without an intermediary pickup point.
  • For buyers, specify in a message to the seller that you prefer a home delivery or post office delivery rather than a pickup point.

Have you noticed that some sellers only offer a single carrier? This limits the buyer’s options. Activating multiple shipping methods increases the chances of completing the sale, especially when the buyer is in a poorly covered area.

Contacting Vinted support: when and how

If none of the previous solutions work, the problem likely stems from a server bug. In this case, Vinted support is the only one who can intervene.

Go through the help center directly in the app. Describe the problem precisely: city, tested carriers, screenshots of the empty map. Group reports (when multiple users report the same bug) speed up the technical correction.

Keep in mind that response times from support vary from a few hours to several days. In the meantime, the transaction remains active. If the shipping deadline is at risk of expiring, notify the buyer by message to avoid an automatic cancellation.

The most effective reflex remains to diversify the shipping methods offered as soon as the item is listed for sale. An item set up with three different carriers will almost never experience a total blockage at the time of payment. It’s a precaution that takes thirty seconds and prevents losing a sale due to a temporarily out-of-service pickup point.
